What You'll Need

  • 2 cups
    of water
  • 1 tablespoon
    of butter or margarine

What You'll Do

1 In a medium saucepan, bring water, butter or margarine, rice-bean mix and Special Seasonings to a boil; reduce heat to low.
2 Cover and simmer 20 to 25 minutes or until rice is tender. Rice will be saucy. Let stand 5 minutes before serving.
3 For spicier Red Beans & Rice, sprinkle with dash of Tabasco® pepper sauce.
